Mallory's 12th birthday

We had a wonderful time celebrating our Mallory's 12th birthday a few weeks ago. We have been so busy with Caleb's marching band and other things, that I am just now getting to this, almost 2 weeks later!

We can't believe Mallory is already 12! She has grown and changed even in the past few months! She has been wearing her hair curly more, and it looks great when she does it! Daddy spoiled us by getting donuts on the morning of her birthday (a Friday), so no pancakes this year! She got to use our red plate at breakfast.

I went out of town for the weekend on our church's Ladies Retreat, and Mallory was invited to a sleepover at a friends' house on the night of her birthday! They went out for dinner on Saturday evening and FaceTimed me!
After I got home on Sunday, we had a party that evening. Joshua and Mallory made the "Revenge Jello," since we couldn't find a Han Solo figure, we used Darth Vader, who was the one who put Han into the Carbonite anyway!
 The kids at the party...
Daddy and Mallory made a cute Chewbacca cake...
The middle of the table had some loaned Star Wars lego characters and planes...
The table with some of the food... Mallory and Joshua made BB-8 Muddy Buddies, Nana and Auntie Allie brought grape lightsabers (on sticks), and we had Hutt Dogs and Han-burgers. It was fun!
Here is our girl opening a few gifts....
Auntie Allie and Rebekah wore some Chewbacca masks...

She was so happy to get her digital camera!
Caleb lit the candles with his mini-blow torch...
She was signing "Happy Birthday" while we sang to her!
Grandpa and Grandma dressed up in the light side/ dark side like we suggested! They looked great! We loved their clothes! Most of our family wore Star Wars t-shirts...

We are so thankful to God for our precious Mallory and pray that she has another great year!
