This is the second post of two of the reception photos. This one will include more dancing photos and the end of the wedding/ reception posts! You can find the first post of these two here.
I hope you have enjoyed these posts!
My hubby gave his father of the bride speech...
My daughter gave her bridesmaids speech... our favorite part was when she told Nick to "love her like I love her." Not a dry eye in the place!😢
The wedding party during the speeches...
Hubby and I were eating dinner...Cousins on one side of our family... they are growing up! Ages 13 to 22 |
The newlyweds after they arrived at the reception, since she has her borrowed fur on...
Boy cousins on my side of the family... the older ones are all over 6 foot tall!
Holding a friend's newer baby... such a cutie!
Their first dance as man and wife... they danced to "Extraordinary Magic" by Ben Recter.
The father/ daughter dance made almost everyone cry. The song that was played was "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman. Our daughter got sad at the end, it hit her how she was going to be moving away from her family for the first time.

I got sad too... that song is one of my very favorites... partly because we have three daughters. I wept through most of the song. My brother (in blue) comforted me as well as my son Caleb.
The party got started... pictures of dancing can be odd... but we had a great time!
My sister and her family requested a song, here they are dancing to it!
I like that you can see the back of Rebekah's dress in this one...
My son and his cute girlfriend, who sat at our table, next to me...
They cut the cake and served it to each other sweetly...
A friend took pictures of me dancing with my sister and my niece, it was fun!
... and another niece joined in!
The day seemed to pass by quickly. We savored each moment, and we're so thankful for the people who came, those who jumped in to help, and for friends who sent us photos over the next week! Sometimes I cry when I look at them, I miss those sweet newlyweds! I'm glad we get to video chat with them often.
Exodus 15:13

Deuteronomy 6:5

Psalm 33:22
May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.
