Rebekah turned 13!

This past weekend, we had a surfing 13th birthday party for our daughter Rebekah! We had a fun gathering of friends and family, and everyone wore Hawaiian shirts, and received a lei when they came!

The cake all cut and ready to frost...
Frosted white and ready to decorate...
The cake decorators working... Nana painted a pink stripe on the cake!
Then Daddy and Nana put glitter flowers on the cake...
The finished product... so cool! Like, totally, dude!
We had SunChips and Goldfish with our dinner...

The "cake" table with the surfboard cake, Nutter Butter flip-flops and cake pops!
The 4' sub sandwich to feed the crew!
Little girls enjoying cake pops after dinner!

 Opening gifts... a book...
 Karaoke CDs-- cool!
 A funny card...
 A cute shirt from Grandma...
 A cute dress...
 A cute shirt...

Our teenager (!?!) blowing out the candles on her cake!
The kids all dressed in their Hawaiian shirts (except Bethany, she was sitting with Grandpa!)
The adults in their Hawaiian shirts-- at the end of the party.. missing a few. It was a very fun party, we had "surfing" music playing on Pandora too! Happy birthday to my wonderful daughter Rebekah! We love you!

  1. That's to funny you had a Hawaiian theme party! That is what we did for Isabel as well. Her birthday party was last Sunday. :-) This warmer spring weather must be making us all want to go off to some tropical island!
