Wordless Wednesday: Spring baseball!

(Well, almost wordless!)

ALL READY FOR HIS FIRST GAME!
My son began his Spring baseball league this past week. We've been practicing for several weeks and they were ready! He is in a new level this year so we are excited to see him perform!

PITCHING

AND HERE'S WHAT SOME OF THE YOUNGER FANS DO...
He enjoys pitching and catching. He usually gets a hit. In this new level, there can be walks, so we have seen lots of walks in his games so far! He has done very well, even had a play at the plate as catcher! After two games, their record is 2-0! A fun way to begin the season! We enjoy watching his games!

Go Gators!

And here is a Bible verse that relates somewhat to baseball that I often think of when they "go home"...

"My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."  John 14:2-3
