(Well, almost wordless!)
We enjoy watching the Olympics in our home, especially swimming and gymnastics. So, it was not a surprise when our children became inspired by watching the Summer Olympics on tv. On Thursday, they got out various forms of plastic-ware, towels and cups. They set to work making their own pools, diving platforms and Lego "Swimmers" and "Divers". I loved seeing their creativity and was delighted that they were kept busy for several hours, and they cleaned it up too (well, for the most part, anyway!)
Bethy used her bigger legos and farmer, with a few animals to plunge into her pool...Caleb was quite precise in his diving platform he created and used...
The Tupperware pool complete with lane lines...
Two swimmers in the pool...
Mallory was into the action as well, with three diving wells beside one another, and Caleb was also swimming his Lego guys in the pool. Who knew Lego Olympics would happen in our own home! I loved it almost as much as the real thing! (Well, maybe not quite as exciting as Michael Phelps!)
Nehemiah 2:14
Then I moved on toward the Fountain Gate and the King’s Pool, but there was not enough room for my mount to get through;
Psalm 107:35
He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs;
John 5:7
“Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
