Wordless Wednesday: Grandparents!

(Well, almost wordless!)

 We recently drove to visit my parents for a partial weekend last weekend for Labor Day. We had a great time visiting, and I love getting to see them be grandparents with our kids!

We had a fun time at the local Rec Center, and had a family picnic at a local park all together. I enjoyed cooking with my mom, and playing games together. It was a great way to recharge and refresh from our usual "labors!" I even enjoyed completing a fun cross-stitch bookmark!
 These two were sleeping at the same time in two different chairs, and I had been asleep in another too! My mom had been sleeping next to Bethany, but I missed the photo op! That pool really wore us out...

Jeremiah 17:8
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

Psalm 42:1-2

As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?

Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

What did you do for Labor Day? Did you celebrate the end of summer somehow? I'd love to hear all about it!
