(Well, almost wordless!)
We had a really fun trip over the mountains this past weekend to visit family and celebrate Mallory's birthday! The fall colors on the trip were so breathtaking, I couldn't resist taking pictures-- even though the can't capture the amazing beauty! It was perfect for fall colors in the hills this weekend! My sister-in-law Morgan had a birthday on Thursday night, and my MIL called just in time to sing to her!
I came downstairs Saturday morning to the six big kids squeezed on the couch watching cartoons. I think the cousins missed each other!
Mallory's #7 birthday pancake!
Aunt Morgan decorated the cake (she has skills and I don't...)-- it looked so cute!
While the cake decorating was happening, so was a game of Ticket to Ride with cousin Matthew!
Mallory showing off her new Hello Kitty shirt that we made from her (idea from Pinterest!)
The cake all finished with the birthday girl!
At the party, we played pin-the-bow on Hello Kitty. My two younger girls helped me make the poster last week. I made some simple bows and they taped them on while blindfolded! (Another Pinterest idea!)
Cousins taping on a bow too...
Genesis 2:2-4
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
2 Kings 5:14
So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.
Revelation 15:7
Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.
