Denver trip memories-2014- Day 1

Last weekend, we celebrated our 18th anniversary! We had the flowers at church, and when church was done, we prepared to leave town. that left the dilemma, "What should we do with the roses?" Since my parents' anniversary was just three days later, we brought them to their house! Aren't they beautiful?

When we arrived in Denver, we brought the kids to their cousins' youth group. After playing kickball, they played duck, duck goose! :-D
We got to help babysit my niece Anna. She was so happy when we were playing, "Pony Girl!"
My oldest daughter holding her baby cousin Anna. They are over 14 years apart! I love this pic!

Hubby and I got to have a date night just the two of us. We walked around the 16th Street mall, ate at a delicious dark Italian bistro underground near Larimer Square. Then we went to the Denver Botanic Gardens. They had this Chulily glass artist featured, and we loved ALL of his work! We were intrigued as to how he would make it. We may have to find a video on YouTube...

Those are my favorite photos from the first day +. I'm so thankful that my hubby and I have stuck together all these years. I still feel 18, so I'm not sure how that happened...?!

John 13:34-
35
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

1 Peter 1:22
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.

1 John 4:7
1112
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.... Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
