Independence Day 2015

We had another fabulous Independence Day this year! As per tradition, we spent time with my hubby's family in a cute mountain town. We enjoyed a concert in the park, fun girly time doing hair and nails, as well as the parade, water fights, visiting friends and good food.
 Cousin time...
Bethany dancing to music in the park... love it!

Our friends playing in the parade on their float...
 Girls enjoying their parade candy...
These boys' daddy flew the planes that went over us loudly at the end of the parade... so cool!
The strong team during the water fights... we called them "statues"...
The weaker team during the water fights, they couldn't get a good hold on the nozzle...
Silly dancing and cheering in the afternoon... cuties!

Showing a funny video to Nana before we left... we had to go back home before bed. We saw fireworks in the sky on the way!

Happy Independence Day, America! We're thankful to God for the freedoms we have and for the troops who fight for us.

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit ofthe Lord is, there is freedom.

Galatians 5:13
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

1 Peter 2:17
Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.
