We had a great birthday party at home for our Bethany's 13th birthday. We had sub sandwiches, veggies, and chips for dinner. Her theme was SILVER. We had silver plates, napkins, balloons, and silver sprinkles for the cake. We did a negative number 13 on her cake, it turned out cool!
After dinner, we opened gifts...A new shirt from Grandma & Grandpa...
A cool map of Tatooine (from Star Wars)...
A hot chocolate bomb, yum!
A comic book that she loves...
Another cool comic book...
Dinner setup
A cute leopard stuffie...
Reading the map of Tatooine...
Yay! Harry Potter legos from Rebekah!
WOW! A big-wheeled scooter from Mom and Dad...
Grandma and me played with a fun popper...
I think she likes her scooter. It lights up too! She has ridden it to band several times already...
Happy birthday to you, dear Bethany! We can hardly believe our baby is 13!?! Now we have three teenagers for the first time ever! We are thankful to God for our bright, happy, sweet, smart, book-loving tomboy Bethany!
Bethany's favorite Bible verse...
Psalm 23:6
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Bethany's life verse, on a plaque in her room with her name meaning...
Acts 2:39
The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
