Rebekah & Nick's wedding

This is another post of our daughter Rebekah's wedding to Nick that took place one month ago already. It is fun to look back at the pictures and remember the special day that we had. I did not take any of these pictures (I think). Friends and family took them and sent them to me.

This picture I missed in my last post about preparation, and well, I just love it. It shows how pretty she really was.

Another one I missed, of me putting on the veil, which is my veil that I wore in our wedding... (something old)
One more preparation one... when my sweet hubby was putting on my wrist corsage...It was so pretty!

This next one is another favorite of mine when Joshua walked Rebekah down the aisle. Cue my tears... I cried-- I'll admit it! I love how they are looking at each other...

The moms and grandmas got to read a Scripture of their choice during the ceremony...

and the fathers and grandfathers did too...

The bridesmaids, including my girls and my sweet niece Annalise as the flowergirl...

Rebekah and Nick took communion together during the ceremony...
Rebekah getting ready to read/ recite her vows...
Nick reading/ reciting his vows...
Another view of the wedding party...
With this ring...
And the kiss at the end... I love this shot of my veil that she wore...
Here are some post ceremony snapshots... I hope you aren't getting tired of so many photos!
These are in no particular order... this is my side of our family who was there.

This is Joshua's side of the family, who was there... we loved seeing all of our out-of-town guests!
Both sides of the newly united family...
This is our family with grandparents who were there...
Me, our beautiful girl Rebekah and my handsome hubby...
My five kids! Love them all!
A professional photo of our family... this was our Christmas card photo!

A sneak peek of next week's post!

It was a great day! Joshua and I cried several times during the ceremony. It was sweet, fun and emotional! I can hardly believe that a month has gone by since this day!

John 2:1-11
Jesus Changes Water Into Wine

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,  and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”

“Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.

Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”

They did so,  and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside  and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
