ABC Bible verse cards

In our homeschool, we read the Bible each morning. I have a few resources that I use during Bible, (that's another blog post in and of itself!) and we've enjoyed using different things. I have been going through the alphabet with Mallory during Kindergarten this year, so I was delighted that I found not one, but TWO Bible verse printable card sets that go along with the each letter in the alphabet!

The first one is from HomeschoolCreations, who has lots of amazing printables for homeschoolers. You can find her printable cards here. I like them because they are the size of a deck of cards and all about the same size. I may be checking out the Seeds Family Worship too! (which apparently they are a companion to...) I have posted about some printables from Homeschool Creations before, you can find that post here.

The other set is from icanteachmychild.com. I like these because they have simple graphics on them related to the verse. I have not printed these yet, but I really like that I can go back and download them! You can find the cards here.

Here are a few of my favorite Bible verses that relate to training children...
Ephesians 6:4
"Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."

Proverbs 22:6 (NASB)
 "Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it."

I hope you can use one or the other of these Bible verse card sets. I wish I had found them sooner-- since the set the I made to go along with our Sing the Word CD are not as colorful or laid out as well as these two sets are!
