VBS Music: "Remarkable"

The Day 1 song this year is called "Remarkable". I love the idea that we can worship God our Maker because He is remarkable, and incredible, and His works are wonderful. I like the signs/ motions for this song, because it is raised hands. I love seeing my kids raise their hands in the van in worship as we sing this song! Kids worshipping God... not much better in life here than that!

Day 1 Song
Verse 1:
Oh, Lord God
You made the heavens and earth
By Your power
and Your outstretched arm
All creation
tells of Your great worth
Showing the glory
of Your spoken word
Nothing is too difficult for You
Nothing is too difficult for You
You are remarkable
Your works are wonderful
I worship You
my God, my Maker
You are remarkable
You are incredible
I stand in awe
because You are remarkable
Repeat Verse 1
Repeat Chorus
You are amazing
You make my heart sing
You have the power over all things

Repeat Chorus twice
You are remarkable
You are remarkable

Kids singing and raising hands on our recent road trip... Awesome!

The verse that this song is based upon is...

Jeremiah 32:17

“Ah, Sovereign Lordyou have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you."

And our theme verse of the week...

Psalm 147:5

"Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit."

  1. I got all teary-eyed this morning at the closing rally watching all those kids with their hands raised and such powerful praises echoing out! What a privilege to see!

  2. I know, they really sang out, i got goose bumps on stage hearing and seeing them worship! Awesome!
