Music Monday: "Grown-Up Christmas List"

This is a Christmas song that I have enjoyed for many years. It has been running though my head this past few days since the tragedy in Newtown, CT. My heart breaks for those parents and teachers, who lost their children and students in that senseless crime. I still wish for "no more lives (to be) torn apart" and that "right would always win", and those lines seem more important in this year more than ever. There is so much hurt and pain in the world, and what we need most is GOD in our lives. He truly can heal all hearts, give love, friends and right to triumph over evil in our days. We don't understand why God allows these acts, which are so unfathomable, so evil. But we do pray that He gives peace, the peace that passes understanding to everyone who needs it in the aftermath of this tragedy.
