Music Monday: "When the Crazy Kicks in"

This song is a new song on Francesca Battistelli's new CD, If We're Honest. It is a very catchy tune, and a song that I REALLY can identify with... I need my time with God, a moment to focus on Him before the busy, full days get going. This week is going to be full of crazy, busy days and I need to remember to begin the day right, with God. I'm so thankful for God's help this week and for my hubby's help too. There is no way that I could get everyone where they need to go by myself! (Choir practices, rehearsals, classes, performances, appointments and baseball games!)

"When The Crazy Kicks In" by Francesca Battistelli

Here I go tiptoeing to the kitchen
And don't you know, crash goes the coffee cup
My only chance to be still and listen
Lord, don't let, don't let the kids wake up
A little time with You, the only way to get me through the day

[Chorus:]
Oh, come meet me in this moment
Before it all gets going
These plates start to spin
When the crazy kicks in
A circus of distractions
It's just about to happen
I'll be ready when
When the crazy kicks in

Pushed and pulled by a thousand expectations
And all the roles that I'm supposed to play
To hit the ground, running's a temptation
But I have learned this lesson the hard way
A little time with You, the only way to get me through the day

[Chorus]

You got me, where You want me, even through the highs and lows
You know me, and You hold me, and You show me that You'll never let me [9x] go

[Chorus]

You can listen to this fun song on YouTube here.  I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
