Kindergarten: H week

We Had another Heart-filled week in Kindergarten this week with lots of Happy faces. We discussed lots of H words including hearts, houses, homes, hats (my favorite), happy, read Bible stories about Hannah, Hezekiah, Hosea and Habukkuk. We measured with hands, added hearts, discussed halves, measured her height, made a hair color chart, discussed hand-washing techniques and more. We talked about hens, hippos, hyenas, horses, hospitals, human hearts and animal homes. We also discussed How to get rid of Hiccups! We ate Hamburgers and Hot dogs and Ham for dinner too! It was a fun week!

Here are a few Highlights of the week:
We read lots of books about Hats.  One of my favorites is the 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins, by Dr. Seuss. So this is the Bartholomew Cubbins hat.
We traced her hands and counted by fives... she added the hearts!
From one of our craft books, she cut and glued this fireman hat by herself!

Next week will be I week, and we will make ICE CREAM! Hopefully I'll remember to take more photos!

But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
