Pumpkin Patch 2014

We went to a local pumpkin patch as a family this past Monday evening. We had dinner there on the fire pits (hotdogs) and smokes for dessert! Some of us enjoyed the corn maze, the big slide, the pumpkin jump, the mini-climbing wall, the duck/water trough pumping, posing for family photos and of course, choosing pumpkins! It was a very fun night!

This was my favorite of my family jumping... Daddy is coming down and Mallory is too, Rebekah is going up (love her fair!) and Bethany is watching. Fun!

I liked this sign-- sorry I can't get it to turn-- it was right on my photos on the computer!
 Choosing pumpkins from the patch...
 Maybe this one, Mom?

 The four we chose!
 Mini-climbing wall...
Loved this cool old truck against the setting sun!

Our family... loved this one! It was a fun place, hope to go back again next year! It was fun to be there with other home school friends too.

Matthew 5:13-15
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

John 9:4-5
As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

John 11:8-10
“But Rabbi,” they said, “a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you, and yet you are going back?”
Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light.  It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light.”
