This past Saturday, our local library branch had their very own ComicCon! There was a costume contest, LOTS of people dressed up in various costumes (including Spiderman, Captain America, Batman, a Tardis lady (Dr. Who) and Thor.) There were many more! We wore our Super hero shirts from Halloween, and checked out comics, the Tardis police box, watched part of a movie about comics, made masks, colored comics, and came home with comic books to read! Such a neat time!posing in the Tardis box...
“Sovereign Lord, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?
Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?
Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty.
Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.
