Summer vacation 2015 highlights #1

Recently we travelled to Texas for my nephew's graduation, and his brother's wedding. Thankfully they were scheduled six days apart, so we could attend both events. The kids did very well traveling, it helped that we had several movies we could watch over the many long miles. We did make a few fun stops, but we were eager to get there to see our family!

The evening that we arrived, we went on a short walk in their neighborhood and saw Oso bay. There was a cool old bridge that cars used to drive on, but now it was run-down and just cool to walk on (and a little scary). The day after we arrived was the graduation, and we were happy to be part of Hunter's cheering section with our cowbell! Enjoy the first set of photos...
After a prayer, we hit the road!
Cute and silly kids!

We played in the snow on top of a mountain pass!
The Royal Gorge bridge... (we were disappointed that it was not free to even talk on it...)
Caleb the navigator... he loved his kids' atlas!
 Bethany doing some activity pages...
 On our walk...
 Beautiful sunset over the bay...

My brother playing with his grandson before graduation...
There he is --the tall one-- walking in to "Pomp and Circumstance..."
Posing with Hunter after graduation...Haven't seen him in a few years, he's taller than me!
We loved all the palm trees!
 Cool Cookie birthday/ graduation cake!

WE LOVED THE FAMILY TIME TOGETHER! I'll post more photos another day...

Exodus 40:38
So the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.

Luke 8:1
After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God...

Luke 10:33
But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.
