In the middle of the week, we spent time just hanging out at my brother's home. One day we went to a cute, nearby port town to be tourists. We drove down and looked off the seawall, saw some sea turtles, jellyfish and fish, and then did a little shopping. We went out for dinner at Whataburger (they don't have them in Colorado!). We went to downtown Corpus Christi to Cole Park. The kids and cousin Cal played on the playground, and we flew a kite until dark. It was lots of fun!Sea turtles...
It was so nice to relax and enjoy lots of family time! My parents were there too, so we played lots of games and enjoyed my brother's AMAZING cooking... he has his own smoker! YUM!
Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided,
Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, andsuch a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
