Oops! I meant to post this on Thursday, and I never did! Well, here it is a few days late...
Our book for the week was Candlelight for Rebecca (book 3 in Rebecca series) We discussed the book in class. We discussed Chanukah or Hannukuh too.

For craft, we made dreidels and a menorah, out of paper, markers and popsicle sticks. I got the pattern of how to make the craft stick menorah here. I found the printable dreidel here. The girls liked making them both, but we ran out of time to make each one. A girl recommended that we only do one craft in class each week! ; - D It was a little hard to glue the dreidels, so we used tape on a few of them. We used a hole punch for the pencil, and it was a little small. The girls loved eating the rolos for gelt though! The page had directions on it of how to play the dreidel game.
Our snack this week was Candy for dreidels . The candy/snack we used was: Hershey’s kisses, large marshmallows (not mini), stick pretzels and icing. They turned out really cute! The girls liked them, and they were delicious!
It was a very busy class, but lots of fun. I was disappointed that I forgot my camera! : - (
We are looking forward to reading Rebecca and the Movies (book 4) next week!
