Our son Caleb had a great 13th birthday this year. It's still weird for me to think he is a teenager now! He had a birthday party weekend, beginning with a sleepover with THREE friends on Friday night. It was very loud and fun to listen to BOYS in our house instead of more girls!
They had fun playing Caleb's small foosball game, tossing a football outside, playing hide and seek, eating pizza for dinner, and watching the first (3rd) Star Wars movie (A New Hope). They were a joy to have here, we had a nice time with them too!On birthday morning, Daddy made him #13 pancakes!
While preparing the cake for the family party, Dad had extra frosting, so he put it on Caleb's head! haha
Cool Superhero/ Flash themed cake!
He loved his new Broncos pajamas from Nana!
Some cool Superhero letters of his initials for his room from Auntie Allie!
A nice new jacket with thumb holes-- he's worn it A LOT already!
A new Star Wars bobblehead...
A nice shirt with a BOW tie from Grandpa and Grandma, he looks so sharp in it!
Our big gift to him (besides shoes and a shirt) was a baseball net and tee to practice hitting into... he can set it up by himself in the garage! Then he can practice this winter!
We are so thankful for our sports-loving, caring, hard-working, funny boy! He is a blessing from God!
Proverbs 1:10
My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them.
Proverbs 4:1
[ Get Wisdom at Any Cost ] Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.
Proverbs 3:11-12
My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
