This year for Independence Day, things were different than usual again. Since Independence Day was on a Sunday, we were needed at our home church that morning. We left to visit family after church for 2 1/2 days. It was great to see everyone, we had lots of fun being silly and we ate well too!
After our yummy dinner, we went to a local park to watch the fireworks. My sister-in-law brought festive Rice Krispies, and had a fun sparkler candle on top! 💥
Here is our crew, all ready for the fireworks to begin! They were about 1/2 hour long, pretty spectacular! The following day spent time playing our newer game, "Wingspan."
We took our annual "porch pictures." We were missing two hard-working boys! We missed doing this on "The 4th" because of us coming in mid-afternoon, people taking naps, etc.,
We love our squishy faces pictures!

These girl cousins had a great time hanging out together!
We played our own version of the TV show called, "TaskMaster." It was fun to do silly tasks and be on teams. Here Joshua is feeling objects inside a sleeping bag and guessing what they are. Then we pulled them out and saw if he (and another team member) were correct about the objects.
In this picture, my niece was drawing on my daughter's back. Then my daughter had to draw the same object on paper. It was a rocket toy. My daughters were playing on the Nintendo Switch together. 💗
We sure love our time with my hubby's family. This year our daughter's boyfriend came too. He stayed at a friend's home at night. He enjoyed getting to know the extended family too. We always eat so well and play lots of games. We have a nice time catching up with each other. It always goes by too quickly!
Psalm 73:5
They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills.
Psalm 119:45
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
John 8:32
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
