VBS Music 2013: "Speak Up"

This is a great song with a great message. It's a pretty fast song, so it is tough to get all of the motions in there! I love the challenge to speak up for Jesus in our daily lives. It is tough, it is hard, but He is our friend. He does walk with us each and every day. I really do want to live my life all for HIM! I hope this song challenges you today as it does me!

VBS Music 2013: "Speak Up"

"I'm not ashamed to call You Savior,  No, no
I'm not ashamed to call You Lord,  No, no
You are the One who set me free.
You are the One who I believe.
You are the One I'm living for, Woh, oh.
I'll forever praise Your name!

CHORUS:
Speak up, and tell the world about You.
Speak up, how they can't live without You.
I'll tell the story, what You've done for me.
I know You want me to... Speak up!

I'm not ashamed to call you Jesus, No, no
I'm not ashamed to call You friend,  No, no
You are the One who walks with me
You are the One who meets my needs
You are the love that never ends, woh, oh.
I'll forever praise Your name!

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
In what I say, in what I do
I wanna live my life all for You.

In what I say, in what I do
I wanna live my life all for You.
Speak up, and tell the world about You.
Speak up, how they can't live without You.

Repeat Chorus

Speak up!
Speak up!"

VBS Music 2013: "Change My Heart, O God"

VBS Music 2013: "Change My Heart, O God"

This song is a slower song to begin the week, our day 1 song. I love the lyrics to this song, and can hardly wait to hear and see the kids sing and do the motions/ signs to this song. Only God can change our hearts and show His Spirit and glory in our lives! Hope you listen to this song and enjoy it too!

"I wanna live my life with courage,
I wanna live with confidence.
I wanna have Your hope within me,
and a joy that never ends.
No doubt, no fear, no wonderin' if You are here.

CHORUS:
Change my heart, O God, open up my eyes.
I wanna see Your glory shinin' like a light.
Change my heart, O God, stir me up inside.
I wanna feel Your Spirit movin' in my life.

I wanna live my life with passion,
I wanna live out on the edge,
I wanna have the faith to trust You
with ev'rything and nothin' less.
No doubt, no fear, no wonderin' if You are here.

Repeat CHORUS

Bridge:
Oh, oh, open up my eyes
Oh, oh, stir me up inside.
Oh, oh, open up my eyes.
Oh, oh, stir me up inside.

CHORUS

Change my heart, oh God,
open up my eyes.
I wanna see Your glory shinin' like a light.

Change my heart, O God, stir me up inside.
I wanna feel Your Spirit movin' in my life.

Repeat Chorus

VBS Music 2013: "Colossal Coaster World"

VBS Music 2013: "Colossal Coaster World"
This is the theme song for this next week of VBS. It will be a fun week of roller coasters, facing the fear of riding something scary, and embarking on the "ride of your life" in a life with Jesus Christ as your Savior. We will be discussing the theme of "Facing Fear, Trusting God" through lots of activities in Bible, snacks, games and music. I think it will be lots of fun! I hope you will be joining us at our VBS, or finding another Colossal Coaster World in your area. Join me as I share one new song each day this week from Lifeway's VBS!

"We're at the gate, and we can't wait
to get inside and ride all the ri-i-i-des.
Can't wait to feel the wind in our hair,
Can't wait to raise our hands in the air
and feel that rush for the very first time!

Chorus:
Colossal Coaster World, facing fear, trusting God.
Colossal Coaster World, facing fear, trusting God
with ev'rything that we've got.

He's give us a spirit of power and love,
and sound judgment from abo-o-o-ve.
Can't wait to see what He's gonna do,
Can't wait to see how He's gonna move
through every twist and turn and dive!

REPEAT CHORUS

So come on, come on, come on
and get going, come on, come on,
come on and get on. We've got a ticket to ride!

So come on, come on, come on
and get going, come on, come on it,
come on and get on. We've got a ticket to ride!

Colossal Coaster World, facing fear, trusting God.
Colossal Coaster World, facing fear, trusting God
with ev'rything that we've got."
