Wordless Wednesday: Hall wall re-do

Well almost wordless!

When we moved into our home a year ago, there was old wallpaper on the hallway/ entry walls. It was peeling and got worse over time. So my goal this summer was to remove the wallpaper and paint the walls. We had some fun ideas for that wall, scroll down and see what we ended up with!

Scraping the glue and wallpaper peel...(UGH!)

So glad it's done! YAY!
We decided not to play the other two walls any color, at least not yet. We painted them white with some paint that we had in the garage. We had a hard time agreeing on a color, and we just needed it to be done for now. We are really enjoying it, and if there are any negative things written on it, I can just wipe it off! We've used mostly chalk markers on it and they are great- less mess and fun colors! (We discovered that they are very hard to remove from this paint- Oh no! ) We may be using regular chalk after all...
