Steak Kebabs!

A great way to use up cherry tomatoes fresh from the garden!
Several times this summer we've had steak kebabs for dinner. I had gotten a recipe for steak kebabs many years ago from a couple in our choir group. I have used that recipe several times, and altered it a little for what we have on hand.

Here is the basic recipe:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 small can pineapple chunks
1 small onion, cut into chunks
Cherry tomatoes
1 green, red or yellow pepper, cut into chunks

Optional: lemon wedges, zucchini pieces

Ready to go on the grill!
Soak bamboo skewers in water. Thread steak pieces, onion, pepper, tomatoes, pineapple onto skewers. Grill kebabs over medium-hot coals to desired doneness, up to 15-17 minutes. Turn them often. Take off the skewers to eat, can dip in sauce if desired.

Ready to come off the grill!
 Delicious!
Deliciousness on my plate!
Let me know if you try it, I'd love to hear your review!

  1. What do you use for your sauce for dipping them?

  2. You could use steak sauce or BBQ sauce, but we usually have them plain and they're tasty!
