Wordless Wednesday: Independence Day highlights

(Well, almost wordless!)

We had a wonderful Independence Day holiday with family last week. Here are some photo highlights...

Bethany trying on my patriotic glasses...
My two little girls and I had red-white and blue painted toenails! So fun!
A camel in a Colorado parade? Sure!
Daddy and Bethy during the parade...
Cool VW bus in the parade.
My two girls holding hands on the way to the park.
My daughter and niece in the running race-- in the middle, near my brother-in-law in red.
My Bethy in the sack race... I think she didn't like the sack. She mostly walked and then walked out of her sack at the end of the race. But her cousin won!
My son and nephew playing baseball... no big surprise there!
Bethy digging for coins in the sawdust... she got 70 cents!
 Mallory digging... She got $2.40!
Nana giving out glow sticks, necklaces and bracelets... all the kids surrounded her!
A nice family pic on Nana's porch!
 Just faces... all close...
A silly one!

We had an excellent time together! We love going to a cool mountain town for a break from our heat-- it even rained in the afternoon!

Psalm 119:45
"I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts."

John 8:31-32

"To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:36
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
